Bindaree Beef: Cape Byron

For 25 years The McDonald Family Farm have hand selected the absolute best Black Angus to graze on the Kikuyu grass and laze under the shade of some of the region’s most spectacular fig trees.

THE BRIEF: Cape Byron Angus is a versatile product that is restaurant quality, but also appropriate for at home, fine dining or a dinner party. The branding was required to have the feel of ‘coming from a local family’ without seeming ‘old’. It needed to fuse a modern feel together with the history of an authentic 100 year old deli. Based on the description, it was also decided that the brand itself would emote nostalgia towards the ocean and salty air.
