Vintage suggests high quality from a time long past; a time when families knew exactly where their meals came from, and they knew the farm where their beef was raised. Bindaree Vintage Beef offers the home chef a restaurant level eating experience. Bindaree Vintage Beef is appropriate for local gourmet restaurants or for the home gourmet chef.

THE BRIEF: The brand needed to evoke a strong hand-crafted experience of flavour. It needed to tell a story of gourmet authenticity through the textures of worn leather and retro-age vintage bindings. It was required to bring to mind well-travelled history. Through this, the brand would then feel warm and comfortable, like an old armchair that will never go out of fashion.

BINDAREE BEEF Australia - cape byron angus beef

The fresh salt air, rich red soil, warm days and the cool afternoon breeze of Byron Bay is the perfect climate for breeding Angus Beef. For 25 years The McDonald Family Farm have hand selected the absolute best Black Angus to graze on the Kikuyu grass and laze under the shade of some of the region’s most spectacular fig trees.

THE BRIEF: Cape Byron Angus is a versatile product that is restaurant quality, but also appropriate for at home, fine dining or a dinner party. The branding was required to have the feel of ‘coming from a local family’ without seeming ‘old’. It needed to fuse a modern feel together with the history of an authentic 100 year old deli. Based on the description, it was also decided that the brand itself would emote nostalgia towards the ocean and salty air.

As you drive over the Waterloo Range of the New England High Country, the heart flutters, and you gain a glimpse of what lies ahead. This is a restaurant and family grade, premium Grassfed beef to satisfy even the most discriminating palate in the family, getting a gold standard for consistently tender and delicious beef.

THE BRIEF: Fernhill Road Beef is a Grassfed, succulent, tender beef which is typically lower in fat and a healthy option for day to day eating. Your family will benefit from the mineral rich, grass fed diet of the cattle, producing a nutritious, healthy choice of beef. For this brand, landscape needed to feature heavily, along with a very modern feel to the logo. The client wanted to portray lush green trees and an inviting path, inducing memories of a family cottage awaiting at the end of the road.

“The Chairman” has been a well-kept secret for many, many years. This is the first time the product has been made available outside the family company, and it is now only available in limited, exclusive amounts. “The Chairman” has a big bold flavour with luxurious silky tenderness. A true bespoke experience.

THE BRIEF: The Chairman is a select product Bindaree reserves as their highest quality marbled grain fed beef. This brand represents the top 1% of grain fed beef graded at Bindaree Beef and judges have recognised this brand as being the very best grain fed beef product on the Australian market. The branding needed to feel prestigious and give off the atmosphere of a Gentleman’s Club. It would be targeted to a high end male consumer group.
